Does everyone dream?
Yes. Researchshowsthat we alldream. We have our mostvivid(清晰的，生动的，栩栩如生的)dreams during a type of sleep called RapidEye Movement (REM) sleep. During REM sleep, the brain is very active. The eyesmove quicklyback and forth(来回地，反复地)under the lids, and the large musclesof the body are relaxed. REM sleep occursevery90-100 minutes, three to four times a night, and it lasts longer as thenight goes on. The final REM period may last as long as 45 minutes. We dream atothertimes duringthe night, too, but those dreams are less vivid.

How can I learn to understand my dreams?
Themost importantthing to remember is that your dreams are personal. The people, actions, andsituations in your dreams reflect your experience, your thoughts, and yourfeelings. Some dream experts believe that there are certain types of dreamsthat many people have，evenifthey come from different cultures or time periods. Usually, however, thesame dream will have different meanings for different people. For example, anelephant in a dream may mean one thing to a zookeeper and something verydifferent to a child whose favorite toy is a stuffed(内塞填充料的)elephant. To learn to understand yourdreams, think about what each part of the dream means to you or reminds you of.Then look for links between your dreams and what is happening in your dailylife. If you think hard and you are patient, perhaps the meaning of your dreamswill become clearer to you.

不管出题人怎么拼凑选项，只要记住原文用了哪个词就行，所以对教材中的文章要非常熟悉。无需去背，但是要多看几遍，知道原文在说什么，不熟悉的生词要记住(尤其是issue，motive这样的词无论如何都要记住，因为它们也是词汇题的常客)。只要文章出自教材，不管怎么改正确答案都在原文里，除非出题者改写或替换原有说法，那样的话就成了英文专业硕士研究生的入学考试了。务必注意，这只是我的一种猜想，实际考题有可能会有变化，切记!文中其他词语短语也可能成为考点，如第二段中totally这个副词，出题人可以拿掉这个词，在选项中再另外搭配三个副词作为干扰项。此外，however全文共出现三次，vivid和aware分别出现两次，试卷中只会出现一次，考点不会重复。
